Virtual Exercise Challenge
Who says a virtual meeting can’t be fun?!
Thank you to all who participated in the virtual ASCP wellness challenge! Participants should receive a T-shirt by early July 2021.
Every year, the ASCP Annual Meeting offers a Fun Run, in which attendees have the opportunity to race with fellow friends and colleagues at 6:00 am. As a perk to the race, all participants receive a complimentary t-shirt commemorating the event. Since the race is only applicable to runners and walkers, not everyone participates. 2021 will be different!
The 2021 ASCP Steering Committee wants to encourage you to choose one (or all) of the activities offered to get your blood pumping, heart rate up, and away from the computer. The challenges offered are intended to target something for everyone. As long as you participate and complete one of ASCP’s approved challenges, you qualify for a t-shirt commemorating the virtual 2021 ASCP Annual Meeting. Set aside two hours any time during the week of the conference to exercise, enter your results, and receive a t-shirt.
At the conclusion of the meeting, you will have the opportunity to view your results as well as your ranking. Additionally, everyone who participates will receive an email with a link to order your shirt and it will be mailed directly to you.

Please note you can sign up for any challenge beginning today, but you will not be able to enter your results until the 2021 ASCP Annual Meeting. This exercise challenge is designed to promote wellness during the meeting dates. There are various activities to choose and all that is needed to earn a t-shirt is to complete 2 hours of exercise between June 01 – June 04, 2021.
Earn Your Complimentary T-Shirt
The following activities are eligible for a complimentary t-shirt. Please note that you must complete 2 hours of any type of activity for the duration of the meeting to qualify.
- 2 hours of cardio (running, elliptical, cycling, swimming, etc.)
- 2 hours of strength training
- 2 hours of water aerobics
- 2 hours of playing a sport (tennis, basketball, racquetball, etc.)
- 2 hours of yoga (any kind)
- 2 hours of Pilates
- 2 hours of Other
At the conclusion of the meeting, on June 4th, if you entered your exercise results, you will receive an email with instructions regarding the shipment of your t-shirt.
