The 2021 ASCP meeting days are Tuesday, June 1 – Friday, June 4, 2021. All requests will be reviewed by the ASCP Steering Committee. Notifications will be sent via email for approval.
It is the policy of ASCP to not allow meetings to happen during scientific sessions. Groups are not allowed to host events except during these available time slots. Your adherence to these time frames as to not distract participants from the ASCP scientific program is appreciated. Any meetings must occur at the following times* or prior to the start of the meeting:
(All times are in Eastern Standard Time)
*Tuesday, June 1st: prior to 1:00 p.m. or after 6:45 p.m.
*Wednesday, June 2nd: prior to 11:00 a.m. or after 4:45 p.m.
*Thursday, June 3rd: prior to 11:00 a.m. or after 5:30 p.m.
*Friday, June 4th: prior to 11:00 a.m. or after 5:15 p.m.
If you wish to be included in the ASCP program, please send an email to ASCP Meetings Manager, Laura Reynolds (email@example.com), who will have your request approved by the appropriate party. Please note, you are responsible for arranging your own virtual meeting link via Zoom, etc. and inviting your guests.
Small events may include: advisory boards, meetings of investigator groups, organization board meetings that have restricted and defined attendance and company-sponsored virtual receptions that are open to all ASCP attendees. Events for open attendance may be listed in the ASCP program. Small event scientific symposia are not permitted at ASCP.
Any planning should recognize the following guidelines as well:
- Any advertisements, e.g., flyers and signs, may NOT include the name ASCP, its sponsors, or imply any co-sponsorship. Signs may only be displayed outside the event location.
- Attendee mailing lists are not available for distribution.
- Special consideration should be taken to refrain from making lavish arrangements, gift giving, advertising and commercial presentation (e.g., brand name decorations and/or gifts).
Please contact the ASCP Executive Office at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any additional questions on small meetings.
